 A Driver Qualification (DQ) file is a set of documents employers must maintain for each employee who drives a commercial vehicle. DQ files are required by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA). They are designed to ensure businesses only hire safe, qualified drivers. Safety 1st will create customized folders that will house all DQ files relevant to the driver's requirements based on license type. 

Safety 1st will assist clients with testing employees into the correct pools (Non-DOT, and DOT (FMCSA, PHMSA). We will update client required data into NCMS, TPS Alert, or Team as required. Safety 1st can also pull or inform our clients of random testing on a monthly or quarterly basis. 

Safety 1st will train your employees on the ELD requirements of FMCSA and the company. We can assist with the setup and monitoring of HOS or driving violations, and communicate with our client or provide counseling directly to the employee.

Safety 1st will work with your team to ensure all of the proper FMCSA required documents are kept up to date including Truck & Trailer List, Driver Listing, Maintenance Files, Pre and Post Trip Inspections, Security Policies, and keeping up to date on Basic Scores.
